ARCHERY ONLY WHITETAIL HUNTS
Whitsett, TX 4,0000 acre Ranch
This ranch we reserve for our archery only deer hunters. The ranch has been managed for the last 5 years and is low fenced and free range level 3 MLD property. The Atascosa River runs along through the middle of the ranch giving it nearly 10 miles of river bottom hunting territory on top of the normal south Texas thick, thorny brush which covers the rest of the ranch. Bow stands and full operating feeders have been set up for you long before the hunting season occurs. You may bring your own tripod or other stand if you would like. Tripods and ground blinds work best because of the varied terrain which inhabits the ranch.
Management practices are enforced as well to keep the quality of our deer herd. Only mature 4 ½ yr old or older bucks should be harvested.
This hunt is semi-guided, or DIY, as where you will be shown a map of the ranch, and/or one of our guides will help to familiarize you with the ranch and blinds so that you may do your hunting on your own.
Trophy bucks average score is 135 – 160 P&Y
Lodging is included in this hunt as well which sleeps up to 10 hunters. Equipped with full kitchen, TV, WiFi, walk-in-cooler, washer/dryer, etc.
